On June 6, 2011, The Spirit of Broadway Theater will present the Second Annual Connecticut High School Music Theater Awards Gala at The Palace Theater in Waterbury, Connecticut. Students, friends, parents, teachers and administrators from 20 high schools across the State will come together to celebrate achievement and recognize exceptional educational opportunities for high school students.

This program recognizes performing arts achievement both on-stage and behind the scenes, in the classroom, and in the school administration! The recipients of Outstanding Leading Actor and Outstanding Leading Actress will join others from across the United States the week of of June 20, 2011 in New York City. They will spend a week in workshops with top Broadway Directors, Producers, Choreographers and Vocal Coaches where they will compete for top national awards including full scholarships to prestigious schools throughout the United States!

Your sponsorship of The Connecticut High School Music Theater Awards will help create a strong and dynamic educational program that seeks to encourage schools across the state to place arts education at the core of opportunities for young people. In addition, your sponsorship is ensuring that young people have a forum to showcase their talents and broaden their career opportunities!
