The Spirit of Broadway Theater is proud to create and present the Second Annual Connecticut High School Music
Theater Awards! The Connecticut program is connected with The National High School Musical Theater Awards, to be held
June 2010 in New York City!
This annual event seeks to raise the profile of high school performing arts programs
throughout Connecticut to help ensure that the arts have a dynamic and central role in the educational life of young people.

by an Actor and Best Performance by an Actress will travel to new York City in June where they will work with industry professionals
in preparation for the National High School Music Theater Awards at NYU. They will be seen by top casting agents and directors
and will be competing for "The Jimmy Awards".
